Grammar. Yes. Most of you are maybe grammar-phobia. That simple word isn't simple. Indeed. I, as a bachelor of art majoring English, had an intimate relation with grammar when I was in college. Unfortunately, so long time after my graduation, I sometimes forget about grammar-thingy. Until now, when someone writes sentence in English containing gramatical errors, I automatically say the right one. In other hand, I start making grammatical errors more often now. And of course, it saddens me. I have to start studying English. I need doing more exercises. I need to keep or even improve my English skill.
At first, I said that maybe most of you are grammar-phobia. Or maybe I was wrong. You are nor grammar-phobia. You just think that grammar isn't important at all. Or maybe, it's just because you simply don't understand about grammar. When I was in college, grammar was like my new religion. When you did grammatical errors, it meant that you just did a sin. I can still remember my beloved lecturer's story about this term. And here it is.
One day in heaven.
Mr. Lawyer: Knock knock!
Angel: Who's there?
Mr. Lawyer: This is me, Mr. Lawyer.
Angel: Sorry, Mr. Lawyer, you're not in my list.
Doctor: Knock knock!
Angel: Who's there?
Doctor: This is me, the doctor.
Angel: Sorry, doctor, you're not in my list.
Mr. Teacher: Knock knock!
Angel: Who's there?
Mr. Teacher: This is I, Mr. Teacher.
Angel: Please come in.
Got it? Making grammatical errors is a sin. You can't go to heaven then. This is an interesting joke I can still remember. Oh how I miss my college. I really miss studying English with my amazing lecturer. Oh how I miss them.
Any grammatical error in this writing is mine to correct. Let me know if any :p
